Welcome to the Ouray Ice Park - The Park officially closed out the 2007/2008 season at the end of the day on Sunday April 13. Thanks for a great season! After a slow start, and an unusually warm November, December and January brought almost 5 weeks of cold, snow, cloudy days and more snow. Regionally, the snowpack this year was above average and routes that had not been seen in 20 years were the norm! But alas, all good things must come to an end, and as temperatures rose and sunny spring days became common, ice climbing opportunities faded. So, the off season is officially upon us! Please note that once the Park is closed it is completely closed. Climbing in the Park after April 13 is strictly prohibited.

Fund raising to date has been primarily by donations and membership fees. Please consider becoming a member and supporting the sponsors that support the Ice Park. The primary fund raiser is the Ouray Ice Festival which has become a major climber's rendezvous each January. Ouray locals put the event together that features exhibition climbing, free clinics, seminars, slide shows, and gear demos.
